BoTW | The Brother’s That Just Do Gutters

Guys, we’re mixing it up this week and moving into a new schedule. Welcome to the all-new Business of the Week!

This week, we thought we might introduce you to some new kids in town. The Brother’s That Just Do Gutters (Brother’s Gutters for short 😉) opened up here just over a month ago. We went over to say hi to the team and got to chat with the owner, Luke Smith about all the things! Here’s our interview…

The Brother’s Who Just Do Gutters

    1. What’s special about Brother’s Gutters?
I was working for a different company in town that specialized in lawn fertilization and weed control and was visiting homes all over the city. As I was helping to develop solutions for lawn customers, I noticed a pattern. Many of these homes were without gutters and most of them had water problems (standing water in the lawns, flower beds being destroyed, damage to the sides of homes, mold, cracks in the foundation/bricks, etc.) After realizing the need, I researched and found that there wasn’t a locally owned strictly gutter business. There are several businesses in town that “do” gutters but there isn’t one that specializes in “just” gutters. Our desire was born out of a need. We saw that the best way we could help the community is in protecting their greatest investment, their homes.

    2. What do you love most about your part of town on Hamilton Road?
We love that we are centrally located. If there is a need in Harris County we are right by the highway and the same is true about the southern part of Muscogee county. We are able to meet the needs of our customers in all areas of town.

    3. What’s coming up next for your business?
We are really excited to have made some great connections in the “gutter world”. We have a guy who is moving here from our corporate office and has specialized for years in copper. In Columbus, we have the unique opportunity to protect historic homes while adding value and curb appeal to all houses.

    4. What is your favorite meal in town?
Jarfly (Jarfly)! Have you had their elote (grilled Mexican street corn)?! It is delicious. Almost as good as their fried bologna sandwiches. But don’t take my word for it!

    5. Favorite home in town?
My favorite home in town is definitely Mrs and Mayor Skip Henderson’s We just installed jet black gutters on their brick home and I cannot stop thinking about how beautiful it looks!

Huge thanks to Luke and the folks at Brother’s Gutters for letting us crash their workday! We love the shop and can’t wait to see you succeed!
Y’all give them a call- estimates are always free and they’re running a Back to School Special right now with up to $250 off PLUS if you mention this post- they’ll throw in another $100 off! If you’ve been thinking about gutters, this is your sign!
