BoTW | By Invitation Fine Stationery and Gifts

The Business of the Week days has become our favorites over here at the Brady Blackmon Team office! We stopped in to By Invitation Fine Stationary and Gifts to meet owner Julie Brown and find out a little more about her super cute shop!

    1. What’s special about By Invitation?
We are a fun stationery and gift shop that offers something for everyone and most any occasion. We love our customers and helping them shop for the perfect gift, whether it is for a new baby, a new bride or a birthday gift for an old friend. We aim to be a one-stop shop!

    2. Why’d you choose Main Street Village for your location?
My husband has worked in Main Street Village since its inception. He owns Odyssey Printing. A stationery store seemed a perfect compliment.

    3. What’s next for your business?
Each season brings something new here at By Invitation. Right now we are enjoying working with our brides who are planning their invitations and picking out gifts for their registry. Graduation season is around the corner too! Things will settle down a bit over the summer, but that’s when we will begin prepping for Christmas!

    4. What’s your favorite meal in the city?
I don’t get to go out a lot a night. Usually, when work is over, we are ready to head home and check on our dogs and cows.  We live in Buena Vista on a farm, so we have a job waiting on us when we get back. We just recently tried Hudson’s that is Main Street Village too. It was excellent!!

    5. Favorite home in the whole wide world?
I must say, that the home of Chuck and Angela Davis is one of my favorites. It’s a Hal Averett home and there wasn’t a detail missed. It has been the perfect setting for many baby showers and bridal luncheons. It’s a house that is warm and inviting with beautiful landscaping to go with it.

These delightful little corners of our town make us feel so lucky to be here! Have a great day, y’all!
